고리 GORI
고요한 달빛 아래, 자연과 쉼을 담다
고리는 신흠의 시조 「산촌에 눈이 오니」에서 영감을 받아, 눈이 내려 돌길이 묻히고 인적마저 끊긴 고요한 산촌의 풍경과 깊은 밤 홀로 찾아와 벗이 되어주는 달빛의 정취를 달항아리 조명으로 담아냈다. 조선 백자 달항아리의 단순하고 부드러운 형태에 빛을 더하고, 눈에 덮인 돌길과 사립문 너머로 비치는 달빛에서 착안한 무늬를 조명 갓에 담아 시조 속 한적한 시간을 표현했다. 빠르게 흘러가는 일상 속에서 은은한 달빛을 벗 삼아 잠시 마음을 가라앉히고, 한국적인 정취와 평온을 경험할 수 있는 일상의 오브제를 제안한다.GORI was inspired by Shin Heum’s sijo “Snow Falls in the Mountain Village,” capturing the quiet scenery of a snow-covered mountain village and the gentle moonlight that becomes a companion in the deep night. The brand combines the simple, soft form of a Joseon white porcelain moon jar with warm illumination, incorporating patterns inspired by snow-covered stone paths and moonlight shining beyond a traditional gate. By expressing the poem’s tranquil atmosphere through light, GORI proposes a contemporary object that brings a moment of stillness and Korean sensibility into everyday life.
