호호당은 『청구영언』의 여러 노랫말에 담긴 사랑과 자연, 계절과 풍류, 일상의 정서에서 영감을 받아 이를 오늘의 생활 속 문화상품으로 재해석했다. 시조의 마음과 의미를 전통 매듭과 자수, 달력 등의 형태로 풀어내 오래된 한글의 감각을 일상의 물건에 담았다. 매듭 노리개에는 벽사와 건강, 행복, 사랑의 의미를 담고, 자수 손수건에는 계절의 풍류와 복을 상징하는 이미지를 수놓았으며, 달력에는 열두 달의 계절감에 맞춰 『청구영언』의 시구를 선별해 구성했다. 과거의 노랫말을 감상하는 데 그치지 않고 오래도록 곁에 두고 사용할 수 있는 물건으로 이어가고자 했다.HOHODANG drew inspiration from the themes of love, nature, seasons, leisure, and everyday life found throughout 『Cheonggu Yeongeon』 and reinterpreted them as cultural products for contemporary living and gifting. The emotions and meanings of the sijo are expressed through traditional Korean knots, embroidery, and calendars, bringing the beauty of old Korean language into everyday objects. Traditional motifs symbolizing protection, health, happiness, and love are incorporated into knot ornaments, while seasonal imagery is embroidered onto handkerchiefs, and selected lines from 『Cheonggu Yeongeon』 are arranged throughout a calendar according to the character of each month. Rather than remaining only as poetry to be appreciated, the works are designed to become objects that can be kept close and used for a long time.
