GORI was inspired by Shin Heum’s sijo “Snow Falls in the Mountain Village,” capturing the quiet scenery of a snow-covered mountain village and the gentle moonlight that becomes a companion in the deep night. The brand combines the simple, soft form of a Joseon white porcelain moon jar with warm illumination, incorporating patterns inspired by snow-covered stone paths and moonlight shining beyond a traditional gate. By expressing the poem’s tranquil atmosphere through light, GORI proposes a contemporary object that brings a moment of stillness and Korean sensibility into everyday life.
